Mr. Gray joined GrayCo in 2010 after a 17-year career in real estate investment banking, where he provided strategic and financial advice and transaction execution to public and private real estate companies across the country. A native of Virginia, Mr. Gray received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina and a M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia..
Multi-family Investment and Development
Paul H. SheehyPresident, Gray Holdings, LLC. Mr. Sheehy has been with GrayCo since its inception in 1992 following a career in the banking industry. He manages GrayCo’s portfolio of stabilized multi-family communities and development joint ventures. A native of Lynchburg, Virginia, Mr. Sheehy received his B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Land Development: Single-Family, Commercial and Mixed-Use
Russell T. Aaronson, IIIPresident, Gray Land and Development Company, LLC. Mr. Aaronson joined GrayCo in 2005 after more than 15 years in the private practice of law. He is responsible for the management of GrayCo’s land development line of business, and serves as chief corporate counsel. A native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Aaronson received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School.
Acquisitions and Dispositions
Robert P. WhittemoreVice President, GrayCo, Inc. Mr. Whittemore came to GrayCo in 2007 from the investment banking industry. He is responsible for multi-family acquisitions and dispositions and financial analysis of the Company’s land development line of business. Mr. Whittemore is a native of Richmond, Virginia and received his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College. Residential Property Management
Randall L. HaughnPresident, GrayCo Properties, LLC. Mr. Haughn joined GrayCo in 2000 and has over 25 years of experience in residential property management coast to coast. He is responsible for the management of GrayCo’s multi-family rental portfolio. Mr. Haughn is a native of Fullerton, California and received his B.A. from California State University, Fullerton. James B. WillisPresident, GrayCo, Inc. Mr. Willis joined GrayCo in 2006 following a 24-year career in public accounting. He is responsible for the management of GrayCo’s tax, accounting and human resources, and serves as chief financial officer. Mr. Willis received his B.S. in Accounting and Master of Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University. New Homes

John E. Farrell General Manager, GrayCo Realty, LLC. Mr. Farrell joined GrayCo in 2001 and has over 25 years of experience in residential real estate. He is responsible for residential home sales in collaboration with GrayCo’s home builder partners. Mr. Farrell is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and received his B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
